Entrepreneurship is an engine for economic growth and the best solution to solve the unemployment problem. For undergraduate entrepreneurship boosts confidence and minimizes socio-economic problems. To have solid ground and best use of entrepreneurship, it is essential to understand the determination of entrepreneurial intention. This study investigates determining the intention of undergraduate students toward entrepreneurship. And to achieve the above objective cross-sectional survey by using a multi-stage sampling method were implemented. The total population of the study (1450) under graduating class students of Assosa University and 304 samples were drawn; where Primary source of data was collected using a self-administered questionnaire with five Point Likert-type scale. Both descriptive and explanatory type studies was used. The study was used a quantitative research approach for data analysis employing SPSS version 23.00. To conclude, data was analyzed by Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression using SPSS 23. Findings from the t-test result for gender reveals that there is significant difference in entrepreneurial intention. One way ANOVA result reveals that there is significant difference among student’s entrepreneurial intention from different fields and family back ground. The correlation result shows that all variables has significant positive relationship with entrepreneurial intention.
