The main objective of this study was to examine the effect of human resource management practices on
employees’ job satisfaction in BGRS selected public sector bureaus. The study was used descriptive and
explanatory research design and also a quantitative research approach was employed. The data was
collected from primary and secondary sources. The sample size of this study was 200 respondents. To
select the respondent’s simple random sampling technique was used. The collected data was analyzed
using SPSS version 22 and presented using both descriptive (mean and standard deviation) and
inferential statics such as correlation and multiple regressions. The findings of descriptive statistics
showed that there are problems in recuirement & selection, compensation, training & development,
performance appraisal in the bureaus. Besides, the correlation result found that there is a significant
relationship between each factor of human resource management practice and employees’ job
satisfaction. Moreover, the finding of multiple regression analysis indicated that all the human resource
management practice factors have significant effect on employees’ job satisfaction. Finally, based on
the findings of the study the researcher recommend that the bureaus management should improve
recuirement & selection, compensation, training & development, performance appraisal in order to
increase employees’ job satisfaction in the bureaus. |
