There was absence of technical and financial support in order to practice the development of u-15 women’s football project. Therefore the aim of this study was to find out the practice and challenges on developments of u-15 women’s football project in Assosa town administration. The approach was mixed (Quantitative and qualitative) while the study design was explanatory design. The sources of data were primary and secondary data. Target population for this study will be 60. The sampling technique was Census. Data collection tools were questionaries’ and interview. The reliability analysis value for Cronbach‟s Alpha (α) of this study shows that 0.951 for all variables. The mean value of administering the practice of u-15 women’s football project was 2.84 that means, technical and financial support average mean value shows 2.863, socio-cultural influence shows 2.788 and development of u-15 women football project Shows 2.803(all mean value was moderate) which shows that there was a problem on practicing the development of u-15 women football project The correlation of Administrative practice, Socio-cultural influence and Development of u-15 women football project has strong association or relationship with coefficient of correlation whereas, Technical and financial support was moderate (r= 0.1, 0.524, and 0.642 and 0.474 p<0.01) respectively. The regression result of administrative practice, technical and financial support and socio-cultural influence (β = 0.114 = at P<0.007), (β = 0.321 = at P<0.009) and (β = 0.400 = at P<0.001) respectively. This shows (11.4%, 32.1% and 40.0%). Based on the statistical significances of theindependentvariableoverthedependentvariable were p<0.01, which means all independentvariables were significantinfluence (impact)on thedevelopment of u-15 women football project.Based on the finding of the study, the researchers conclude that, Low number of u-15 women in football administrative and decision making positions, Absence of technical and financial support from the Assosa town administration office and Beneshangul Gumuz region sport commission, the findings and conclusion of this thesis, Assosa town administration office, Beneshangul Gumuz region sport commission and Beneshangul Gumuz football federation should Construct and maintain sufficient and comfortable sport facilities and infrastructure. |
